Co-director, The Write Effect A co-founder of The Write Effect, Lynn Kearney has consulted on communication and organizational issues with private and public institutions for more than 20 years. She has designed and delivered writing and listening courses for American and European firms both domestically and internationally. In addition to training, Dr. Kearney edits research publications for financial clients and advises firms on their marketing documents, including investment brochures and customer service letters. Dr. Kearney completed her Ph.D. at New York University with a concentration in composition and rhetoric. Since 1995, she has served as an adjunct assistant professor at New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. Phyllis Tashlik
As co-founder of The Write Effect, Phyllis Tashlik has published widely in professional and news media and spoken internationally on strategies for streamlining language and document design. For the past 20 years, she has consulted with businesses, technical firms, and non-profit organizations on writing, training in writing, and document production. Tashlik, editor of Active Voices II and numerous industry newsletters and promotional materials, also designs and delivers training in writing. She has the seasoned experience needed to help clients translate complex information into clear, direct prose – something today's busy readers need and value.
